The Chateau Solar Water Heating Systems come in two standard
sizes. The 12-tube unit will provide sufficient hot water
for a household of 2-3 people while the 18-tube unit is for
a household of 4-5 people. The Solar Water Heating System
consists of following components:
- Linuo evacuated tube collector (12 or 18-tube array)
- Temperature differential controller
- Circulating pump
- Water storage tank with either gas or electric auxiliary
heat
Both systems can be used in freezing or non-freezing climates.
Additional parts required for the freezing climates are:
• Glycol food-grade antifreeze
• Drainback tank
• Heat exchanger, either internally or external
Solar Water Heating System can be incorporated with space
heating. The size of collector may vary depending on house
size, location and other factors. Chateau can customize the
system according to the customer’s specifications.
For pool heating, Chateau can offer a similar package to
the Solar Water Heating System. The solar pool heater will
have the following parts:
- Linuo evacuated tube collector (size of the array dependent
of size of the pool)
- Temperature differential controller
- Circulating pump
For aquaculture process water heating, the solar water heater
will need to be customized according to the applications.
For remote area applications, photovoltaic panels are required
to power the pump and controller. Chateau Building Products
will offer photovoltaic panels in addition to the solar water
heaters if electricity were nonexistent at the location.
Chateau Solar Pack
Chateau Solar Pack is a solar heat exchange module that is
to be installed with Linuo Paradigma evacuated tube collectors.
Chateau Solar Pack includes all components necessary to circulate
cold water up to the solar collectors on the roof/wall as
well as all safety valves and devices required for the solar
loop. Chateau Solar Pack can also easily convert virtually
any existing electric or gas water heater into low cost solar
water heating system. The pack is completely pre-packaged
and is very easy to install.
Only food-grade glycol or water may be used with Chateau
Solar Pack.
