Canada's ecoACTION program has recognized ChateauSolar's
evacuated tube solar hot water collectors, Linuo Paradigma
CPC 1508, CPC 1512, CPC 1518 and U1521 as compliant with Canada's
CSA Standard F378-87.
This recognition makes these Linuo Paradigma solar hot water
panels eligible for grants from the Canada's Federal Govenment.
Grants are currently available for solar air and solar water
retrofit projects. These grants, offered by Natural Resources
Canada's (NRCan's) ecoENERGY Retrofit program provide financial
support to homeowners, small and medium-sized businesses and
public institutions as well as industrial facilities to help
implement energy saving projects that reduce energy related
greenhouse gases and air pollution.
Grants range from $500 to 25% of costs, so inclusion of Linuo
Paradigma collectors on the list is expected to greatly enhance
market acceptance of these solar collectors in the Canadian
market.
